After breakfast, drive through part of the busy city of Nairobi and onward to Amboseli National Park. This park is particularly good for watching elephants - the numerous families which live safely there have been studied by researchers for many years. It is a place of rugged beauty, abundant water, lush grass and forest, set like an oasis in surrounding semi-arid savannah scrub at the foot of Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain.
