Governors’ Camp
Maasai Mara
In the morning you will be taken to the airstrip for the scheduled flight to the Maasai Mara. On arrival there you will be met and taken to your camp.
The Maasai Mara is Africa’s greatest wildlife reserve. Here you can feast your eyes on one of the natural wonders of the world with its dense population of predators, herbivores and birdlife. Open savannahs, rolling grasslands and undulating hills make the magnificent scenery of the Maasai Mara unforgettable. As well as the enthralling spectacle of the migration there is abundant resident wildlife such as elephant, leopard, lion, cheetah, hyena, jackal, plains game, hippo and crocodile. Black rhino are rather shy and hard to spot but are occasionally seen at a distance.
Visitors can also catch a glimpse of the traditional Maasai culture. A proud and nomadic people, the Maasai have lived in harmony with nature for centuries.
